The Vessel collection is a generative collection of 100 pieces of physical art. Combining generative scripting and a human touch, this project creates pieces that are neither generative or human, occupying the space in between. Traits like color palette, tool selection, and application method and composition are pre-determined by the script, then executed simultaneously by two different people. Influenced by the human hand, but driven by code; each output results in two unique pieces born from the same seed. The Vessel is the first in a collection of art pieces and series that bend the realm between physical and digital art.
